Frequently Asked Questions

What can we expect from you on the day?

Well, I dress like a guest, as much out of respect to you as to blend in amongst your guests. I don’t direct the day and will try to capture it as it naturally unfolds but I will guide you when necessary. I’ll always keep you informed of how we’re doing picture wise and I’ll try to keep you on time where I can. I try to make everyone at ease; so I know when to have a bit of craic with people and when to back off. My favourite thing to hear at the end of the day is “will you stay for a drink?” or “it was like having a friend photograph the day”. That, plus some top class pictures are the end goal for me.

Can we add on albums at a later stage?

Yes that is no problem, we can discuss albums when you have recieved your photos after the wedding.

What time do you arrive in the morning?

Usually between one and a half and two hours before you have to leave the house. For example if your wedding is at 1pm and the ceremony location is near by I will arrive at approx 11/11.30am in the morning.

How many images do you take on a wedding day?

It varies depending on the wedding but usually I shoot between 2000-3000 images. You receive around 400-600 of them.

Do you charge extra for weddings outside Dublin?

Nope, not at all. Travel costs are included in all packages.

What is included if you stay until first dance?

If I stay for first dance I will take pictures of the speeches, your first dance and some fun photos of you and your guests dancing.

What if the weather is terrible on my wedding day?

Weather is something every couple worry about. After years of being a wedding photographer I have never had a problem with it! There are always ways around it and indoor options to get some great shots. I actually prefer when we get a little moody weather to capture more detail in the clouds!

What if we would like to do an engagement shoot?

I love doing engagement shoots! It’s a great way to meet the couple before the wedding and a great way to get to know each other. It’s also a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera.

Do you travel?

Definitely! Have camera, will travel.

Do you have insurance?

Absolutely! I am fully insured.
