As the sun broke through the clouds, it split the cold air and lit up the beautiful surrounds of The Millhouse. Nerves were high for Aoife & Dan as they got the last details in place and made their way to a quiet part of the venue for their first look.
I’m not too sure who was more nervous but the look on Dan’s face when he turned to see Aoife described everything I loved about this wedding. Take note people, that’s how you look at your betrothed! The rustic look and feel to The Millhouse created a gorgeous backdrop to this very intimate wedding and was complimented beautifully by harpist, Rachel Reid. The party was in full swing, thanks to the Curragh, as the guests moved back to the main house for some of the most hilarious speeches I’ve ever witnessed. A good tip for any future couples (especially if you’re nervous of them) pre-dinner speeches in the reception space can be really comfortable and relaxing. Congrats Aoife & Dan; thanks for letting me peek into your day!
