The nerves were in fighting form in Carton house on the morning of Jason and Irina’s wedding but it was nicely balanced with plenty of banter including some “interesting” conversation in the bridal suite that morning. I won’t divulge details but it was the first time, on the morning of a wedding, that I’ve been asked for my in-depth analysis on dating and men ….not by the bride!!! …just to clarify (insert “phew” emoji). Carton house is a stunning venue, so I was delighted when the whole bridal party braved the inclement weather to make full use of the grounds. This is always a tough one for ladies in dresses but this bridal party didn’t let it phase them, they kept the laughs going and the spirits high the whole time and made it one of the funniest weddings I’ve been part of. After a quick golf buggy ride down to the boat house (well done Jason on learning to drive one in about 5 seconds) we made a b-line for the warmth of the hotel. This was a genuinely lovely couple and bridal party; It was an absolute privilege to photograph Jason and Irina’s wedding.
